Month: March 2015

Reflecting the continued adjustment of refrigerant gas prices to sustainable levels and the challenging exchange rate between the Euro and the US Dollar, Mexichem Fluor has announced a price rise for its KLEA® refrigerants in Europe.

This includes a 15% price rise across KLEA®134a, 407A, 407C and 410A, and a 20% rise for KLEA® 404A and 507.

All rises are effective immediately, or as contracts allow.

Mexichem Fluor, the world’s largest fully integrated “mine to market” manufacturer and supplier of refrigerant gases, will exhibit at The Big 5 Saudi, an international construction show held in Saudi Arabia from 9 to 12 of March 2015, stand 1 A79.

The company will be showcasing its range of products for the Middle East, in particular how the KLEA® range of HFCs such as KLEA® 410A offer high performance non-ozone depleting solutions to replace R-22 under forthcoming bans.

In addition, the Mexichem Fluor commercial team will be on hand to discuss how the company’s full integration “from mine to market” allows it to offer high levels of product quality, security of supply and customer service to its partners.

A supplier to leading global companies across the commercial refrigeration, automotive and stationary air conditioning industries, Mexichem Fluor has long been an industry leader having built the world’s first commercial R-134a plant as well as operating the largest R-134a production plant in the world, located in the USA.
